In 2017 Sean Payne and Nieves DeMartini decided to formally create The Payne Real Estate Team (#HousesOfPayne) bringing nearly 30 years of Real Estate sales experience. Whether it be a luxury home, a 300 acre ranch, a classic Victorian, a modern marvel, or an entry level home, Real Estate can move at an uncomfortable pace.

We represent buyers and sellers of all types, and when the transaction is done, they’ve actually enjoyed the process. We operate as a team and not a group of individuals, with each member focusing on their strengths to make the transaction process comfortable.

Sean and Nieves are always just a phone call, text, or email away, but in the event there is an issue that needs to be addressed immediately, we have support systems in place, including a (living/breathing) client concierge, as well as an A.I. assistant (we named him “Homie”, ask for an introduction).

Elijah Barntsen recently joined the Payne Real Estate Team as an agent. He has always had a passion for helping people and is an active real estate investor. In August of 2020, he completed his first real estate flip and is currently working on others in Northern California.

Previous to his real estate career, he ran a successful Ticket Brokerage for 18 years that sold tickets to tens of thousands of events nationwide. He enjoys working with people and takes pride in his analytical and marketing skills. He’s a music lover, meditator, and loves exploring regional parks with his wife and 6-year-old son.

In 2014, he founded a non-profit organization called Live Music Lantern that provides live music to social workers and educators as a form of self-care. This organization has gratefully gifted over 4,000 concert tickets to Sonoma County teachers and social workers. In addition, they have facilitated hundreds of concerts at schools and social service organizations.”

Alyssa Rumrill was born and raised in Sonoma County, living most of her life in the beautiful neighborhoods of Petaluma and Santa Rosa. She has a deep love and understanding of the area, its vast beauty and its challenges.

Having worked in the Luxury Vacation Rental industry for 13+ years in various roles, Alyssa has a vast knowledge of property management, inspection, rental and ownership. From 1 bedroom cottages to 10 million dollar estates, she has seen and inspected them all and is right at home working with a property of any size. Alyssa has a fresh eye for real estate and a depth of knowledge of the realities of home ownership and property management.

Alyssa is a member of The National Association of Realtors, The California Association of Realtors and the North Bay Association of Realtors. As part of the Payne Real Estate team she has the mentorship of Sean Payne and Nieves De Martini, with a combined 30+ years of experience behind her.

Isaiah Chass

Client Realtor

As an avid cyclist from a young age, Isaiah competed in road, cyclocross and mountain bike racing, gaining numerous local, national and international results. His extensive training took him to all areas of Sonoma, Napa and Marin counties, giving him a love, appreciation, and most importantly, detailed knowledge of these areas. These areas included, but were not limited to, Sebastopol, Santa Rosa, Healdsburg, as well as Petaluma. His dedication to racing helped him to develop the persistence needed to pursue a goal to completion and to achieve a goal despite the many challenges that may and will arise.

With a B.S. in Business Administration and a special concentration in Wine Business, Isaiah graduated from Sonoma State University. Gaining knowledge in the wine and viticulture fields, Isaiah is able to provide his knowledge in the buying and selling of land for current and future vineyard operations. In addition to a background in Business Administration, Isaiah is considered an aviation enthusiast. As a licensed pilot, when not viewing properties from the ground, Isaiah enjoys viewing properties from the sky all around California.

Isaiah is genuine and personable, and is known for his ability to connect with his clients and guide them through a real estate transaction. He works equally with the first-time home buyer as with veteran homeowners. He strives every day to exceed his client’s expectations by staying ahead of market trends, quickly finding properties of interest, finding buyers of interest, as well as making the transaction process as smooth as possible for everyone. With years of experience in internet technology and research, Isaiah can utilize all of the current tools to help you have a better experience through your real estate transaction and navigate during critical market conditions.


Administrative Assistant

For the past 6 years, Dee has worked as a Real Estate Assistant. Her duties have included pre-marketing, marketing, property management details, escrow related details, data sourcing and entry, and customer service. As a result, she has gained vast experience in the successful management of Real Estate processes. Dee provides administrative support to The Payne Real Estate Team to ensure that both buyers and sellers have a flawless experience when working with The Payne Real Estate Team.


Web Design & Development Expert

Sohil has worked closely with the Payne Real Estate Team for 5 years developing various products within the Real Estate industry to improve the consumer experience. Sohil is responsible for the back-end development of all technology used by the Payne Real Estate Team.
